Organizational Development
Organizational/Cultural Assessment
We use both qualitative and quantitative research methods to examine the systems, structures, cultures, behaviors, and beliefs that drive an organization. Our methodology captures cognitive, affective, and behavioral components, providing us with a deep understanding of what motivates an organization to overcome challenges, embrace change, and support long-term positive impact in alignment with its mission. This includes in-depth interviews, a survey tool, and a comprehensive report with recommendations. As a result of this approach, our process has a longer shelf life than a typical survey
Crisis Management
Crisis management is about equipping organizational leaders with the tools and resources to provide effective community care, reduce harm to the institution, and leverage organizational resilience. We have helped organizations navigate through extreme crises including the pandemic, lawsuits, and the loss of community members.
We help organizations and leaders to think through strategies, communication, employee and community support, skills and competencies needed to navigate through the crisis successfully. We work with boards to ensure sustainability and to reduce fear-based decision making.
Change Management
Change management is important for organizations to engage buy-in and to secure sustainable implementation of new practices, policies, and innovative programs. It also builds capacity for change management within the organization for future changes. Our job is to help organizations think through the different phases of change and to also understand barriers to change and immunity to change that can derail efforts.
Change Management when related to organizational culture, can be particularly tricky and organizational culture evolves over time, typically taking two to three years. Understanding the different strategies necessary to evolve culture, while at the same time implementing new systems structures and policies is a critical skill.
