KATE SHEPPARD

Kate Sheppard has specialized in supported organizations navigating through crisis for the past decade. She is passionate about applying a human-centered approach to ensure individual and organizational resiliency through times of challenge. Kate has over 20 years of experience facilitating adult learning, is a facilitator for the Center for Courage and Renewal, trains and certifies professional development coaches, and is a Trauma Informed Systems Trainer in partnership with the San Francisco Department of Public Health. Kate believes participatory research is the most effective way to catalyze sustainable change and has led over 100 organizational assessment projects to catalyze paradigm shifts and disrupt inequities within organizations. Kate holds a M.A. in Human Development with an emphasis in Leadership in Education and Social Services.

MARCELA HUNTER

Marcela Hunter has over a decade of experience working with non-profit and community resource organizations. Marcela believes in creating learning environments that foster development and promote racial justice. She brings her passion for uplifting all voices within the organization to her facilitation, and partners with organizations to examine and disrupt old paradigms. She is a skilled researcher, helping organizations increase awareness around how beliefs drive their actions. Marcela has found her degree in Psychology dovetails beautifully with her work in fostering spaces that create equity, harmony, and healing.

JUSTIN JAMES

Justin James is a trained qualitative and quantitative researcher who has a passion for designing systems to increase agency efficacy, improve organizational awareness, and guide strategic decision-making. Justin’s innovative approach to organizational development and design has supported complex agencies in enhanced communication, staff engagement, and implementation of major change initiatives. Justin especially enjoys facilitating spaces for dialogue and reflection. 


JON LIYAMA

Jon Iiyama’s work for the past decade leading nonprofits has taught him the value of creating ongoing opportunities for growth and applying a structured and thoughtful approach to catalyzing meaningful change and navigating through challenge. He is a gifted facilitator and coach, uplifting individuals to achieve their full potential. His expertise in martial arts has influenced his facilitation style, inspiring him to bring a deliberate, holistic, and values-based approach to each setting.

ELIDA SOBALVARRO

Elida Sobalvarro’s passion for social work and community service informs her approach to facilitation and research. In facilitation she loves to create spaces for voices to be shared, heard, and valued and that support individual’s growth. She is focused on helping individuals build self-confidence and self-awareness. As a researcher she loves to identify gaps and opportunities to help organizations think through how to catalyze meaningful and lasting change. Elida works to ensure positive impact on the communities that are a part of that research process.


GIGI WOODRUFF

Gigi Woodruff holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Servant Leadership from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington and an undergraduate degree from Austin College in Sherman, Texas where she graduated with honors. She is an adjunct faculty member for Springfield College, Houston campus, where she has taught courses such as Leading Organizational Change, Business Ethics, and Human Rights. Gigi is certified as an Advanced Governance Consultant with BoardSource and holds multiple certifications as an executive coach. Gigi believes in the capacity of people to leverage their gifts and strengths to change this world for the better and is honored to be trusted as partner on the journey.

MYA SULLIVAN

Mya Sullivan is a skilled administrator and long-time educator with a demonstrated history of learning and development work in academic, non-profit, and corporate sectors. She brings a nuanced lens to effectively implement change management, leadership development, training, equity and inclusion programming, and curriculum development. Mya is passionate about catalyzing positive changes in organizations to deepen individual curiosity and evolve culture.

KATIE TESSIER

Katie Tessier has her M.A. in Professional Communication and has consulted for both non-profit organizations and businesses. She has experience in research, marketing, and teaching undergraduate students in Wisconsin and California. Katie grew up in a diverse family with people from three different continents and deeply values learning about others’ backgrounds and cultures. Katie loves being able to help those around her discover and find their inner strengths and passions through healthy communication.

LEON TRUONG

Leon Truong joined SEE Change in 2022, bringing his decade of experience in facilitation to the team. Leon is a gifted coach, working with each individual to help support their achievement of goals. Leon is passionate about creating environments that support sustainable, meaningful change. His extensive work as a facilitator for the YMCA of San Francisco taught him the importance of differentiated learning and creating safe, supportive learning spaces. As a researcher he enjoys learning from and with organizations to help advance strategic objectives.


JOSH LEONARD

Josh Leonard is a dynamic social impact leader with over twenty-five years of nonprofit leadership experience, predominantly with the YMCA, where he excelled in various roles and significantly enhanced the organization's impact in the communities it served. At the helm of the Stonestown Family YMCA, he managed a substantial budget and team for the largest Y in San Francisco, driving strategic initiatives and transformative change. Beyond the YMCA, Josh's influence extends through his consulting practice and pivotal roles in organizations like the Institute for Cultural Evolution and the Institute of Applied Metatheory. He brings a unique integral lens to his work in leadership development, strategic planning, and organizational learning & development. Josh is dedicated to lifelong learning and possesses certifications in strategic foresight, scenario planning, and theories of change. He is passionate about fostering growth in individuals, teams, and organizations to meet the complex challenges of the 21st Century.


SARA MAZOZ

Sara Mazoz has a passion for learning and supporting healing through her work. She has been a teacher for over 12 years and has worked with students across five continents and 49 countries. She co-founded an International language school and brings her talent for Operations and strategy to SEE Change Consulting. She enjoys working with individuals and groups to promote empowerment and well-being. As a researcher, she loves listening deeply to understand what drives communities.
